The Lamonicas recently moved to Dallas and have become great friends of ours. We were thrilled to hear that they were getting a new puppy. I was even more excited when they asked me to do a shoot of their new little family. Miller is such a beautiful dog! (She is a Vizsla breed, in case you were wondering.)

I love this precious family so much. Isn’t this little boy just one of the cutest kids you’ve ever seen? Okay, I might be a bit biased since he is my nephew. I was so happy to have the opportunity to do a shoot with my sister and her family. On the day of this shoot, Bennett decided that he wasn’t going to smile much…which is funny since he is usually such a smiley, happy little guy. We took some play breaks and had fun throwing rocks to get a few smiles out of Benny. I think we managed to get some pretty great shots!

My husband and I were blessed to be able to travel to Italy this summer with his parents. It was a wonderful trip filled with great sites, food, and company. I absolutely loved the food…especially the pizza, pasta, bruschetta, and gelato! We traveled to Milan, Venice, Cinque Terre, Florence, & Rome. I was having a blast snapping photos in such a beautiful place. Here’s some photos from our trip….enjoy!

My sweet friend and fellow photographer, Claire asked me to come second shoot this event for her. (Go check out Claire’s work at www.clairemccormack.com — she is an extremely talented photographer!) Council for Life is a great local organization that empowers adults and youth to make life affirming choices. This was such a fun night filled with great people, food, and conversation!
